Cutting Board Restoration Serve

While I love the way my cutting boards look, first and foremost I consider them a tool to be used. That means that you're going to cover the surface with knife marks and scratches.

When you're sick of looking at all of that scoring, let me know! If you're local to Littleton, MA, you can drop off your cutting board and I'll restore it to it's former beauty, whether I made it originally or not.

The process is simple (and one you can do at home).

1. Sand the board at 120, 150, and 220 grit sandpaper until all of the scratches are gone.

2. Wet the board to raise the grain and then sand at 220 grit again.

3. Wet the board and resand one more time.

4. Apply two coats of mineral oil to the board.

5. Apply one coat of cutting board conditioner.

If you're interested in having me refinish one of your boards, please contact me to schedule an appointment!
